Ismolène is a show dog, pampered and overprotected by her owners. Chipolata, her neighbour and best friend, lives in the shadow of an owner consumed by his own sadness. One day, they decide to hit the road in Ismolène’s owners’ gleaming Thunderbird. They set off on a whirlwind road trip, from petrol stations to photo booths, with a single destination in mind: the sea.

Ready to do anything to pursue their dream, Ismolène and Chipolata realise that freedom must be earned, and that happiness sometimes depends on the smallest of things.
